I have been searching for Mick's good morning, but he is not here again, just hope it is a computer blip for him. Anyway, good morning everyone bright by autumnal start to this morning. Enjoy your days

Bellanonna Fri 07-Aug-15 22:14:15

I gather all is well.
I apologise to Mick if he sees this as intrusive, but hope he will understand that a lot of the grans have known him for a long time and were concerned. Like everyone else from time to time he has probably been a bit busy.

I left a voicemail message at the home but admin staff don't work over the weekend. May hear something on Monday or better still we may have a report from mick himself. Let's hope so.

Thanks, dusty, I did get your pm. I don't really know what I expected to do about it unless someone lives near enough to drop by. Do we even know his last name? sad

Indinana Fri 07-Aug-15 16:02:51

Mick says on his profile that he moved into an Anchor Home. A quick google of Anchor homes in Brackley produced Godwin Court - this was one of the results in the www.housingcare.org link that Bellanonna gave.

A bit overcast here - started off warm and sunny, but we just had a short rain shower, so in came the washing sad.

Hello kazzer and welcome. smile

It's overcast and cloudy in the Algarve today. It's still warm though and I expect it's very enjoyable on the beach.

I hope Mick is alright too. Kitty I think I can remember which retirement flats Mick moved into. In case he doesn't want it on the www. again I will PM you.

Last time it was his breathing. So maybe it is the same again. Mum has been short of breath the past few days it may be the weather? He was in hospital last time.
The trouble given all our ages it could happen to any one of us. Difficult not sure what the answer is.

Bellanonna Fri 07-Aug-15 15:25:58

Www.housingcare.org gives 6 retirement homes in brackley. I'm sure there must be more but I don't know how big brackley is. I don't think patient information would be given out to a stranger though? I'm not too IT competent but using a google map and identifying a home, if that's possible, see whether it's near a church? (Someone mentioned church bells or possibly town hall clock). Ok long shot and you'd need time. Maybe just wait for Mick to say he's back home - give it a few more days. Well it shows we care anyway ! The above is not a " link " as such, I just typed it out. Must get some iPad skills going.

Good afternoon all.
I was busy with DGS1 this morning and he has just left for his swimming lesson so I thought I'd check in as I was wondering about Mick, but I see there is no news.
We all need some sort of GN tag showing our status. A bit Big brother ut it would stop us all worrying!

kittylester Fri 07-Aug-15 14:41:47

Welcome, kazzer!!

I know Mick lives in Brackley but does anyone know where? I know he can hear church bells or maybe the town hall clock.

Yes Bella you are quite right.

Bellanonna Fri 07-Aug-15 11:29:04

He would need to be at his computer though, to open a private message. Last time he was "missing" he did come back shortly afterwards. I heartily share all your concerns.

daffydil Fri 07-Aug-15 10:55:58

Apologies hilda. Yes it is Brackley where Mick lives. Would it be O.K. for someone to send him a private message?

chelseababy Fri 07-Aug-15 10:45:37

Morning all, I'm also hoping Mick is ok.

It is the most beautiful morning here in South Lanarkshire so whatever I do today I'll do it outside. smilesunshinebrewcupcake

Good morning. Cold and dull in Birmingham.

daffydil Fri 07-Aug-15 09:19:30

Yes, still concerned about Mick's silence. We know he lives in Bracknell kitty in a retirement flat.
Anyway good morning all. Lovely start to the day here in Chelmsford. I am looking forward to pottering about this morning with a little bit of shopping this afternoon.
Enjoy your day.

hildajenniJ Fri 07-Aug-15 09:09:33

Good morning everyone.
Doesn't Mick live in Brackley? I do hope he is all right. I'm in Northumberland so I'm miles away.
Weather today is cloudy and cool. When I left work at 07:30 the sun was shining and the sky was blue, but that was 17 miles east of here. Let's hope the clouds burn off soon.
Have a lovely day all.

whitewave Fri 07-Aug-15 09:06:38
