A beautiful day- the washing is out. Waiting for a parcel to come.

Good morning to you all from a beautiful morning on the south coast. Off to play bowls this morning, making the most of the fine weather, as it is evidently going to be a bit uncertain for the next few days. Catch up with friends, and a bit of gardening later. Enjoy your days

Good morning all!

Looking good for our last day on holiday! As we had to abandon our trip on the Ffestiniog due to rain, we are going to go today. We have seats at the very front of the observation car so it should be spectacular! Out for breakfast first though! grin

Enjoy your days everyonesunshine

Morning everyone.

Bit drizzly here this morning but looking forward to GD1s first dance show tonight.

Lovely and sunny so far in North Devon, seems a shame to have to go to work, but needs must!

Enjoy your day, everyone.

Picking up youngest GD from nursery, then going to support oldest GD in first rounders match. She emailed to ask if we could also cheer her friend on as no one is available to support her. Maybe I could hire myself out?

Morning all! Beautiful day here in SE Hampshire and we've been and done the supermarket run. I was up at 5 again with my grumbling back. Think it needs some WD40. Tried to buy 3 packs of 16 pain killers but could only have two. So I just put the third through again as a separate transaction. Crazy!

We are in loco parentis from today till Sunday as DD and SiL are off to a festival in Portugal. The DGC are at school today and tomorrow so fairly easy and DH does all the taxi-ing. I just cook and cuddle. sunshine

Brendawymms Thu 05-Jun-14 08:48:04

It's sunny here in East Sussex and the gardener is cutting the grass already. He is only here for one hour today so it's only grass cutting
Going on holiday a week today and I have enough clothes selected to fill several suitcases so will have to cut down somehow. Any tips?

KatyK Thu 05-Jun-14 08:48:33

sunshine in Brum. I am pleased as we are having a new porch fitted today! smile

Lona Thu 05-Jun-14 09:19:09

Dull and a bit damp at the moment, but 'good morning' everyone sunshine

Just planning a mooch at the shops when I can get myself going!

dorsetpennt Thu 05-Jun-14 09:36:39

Nice and sunny here in lovely Dorset.
Well she's done it, at last my lovely daughter has chucked in her rubbish boyfriend. They'd only been together for 6 months but it's not been a particularly happy 6 months. He was one of those men that like to put their girlfriends down, every argument was ended by saying she needed psychiatric help. He also lived some distance away, what with this and the fact that with his job and family commitments they didn't see each other as often a new relationship should. They'd broken up twice before but this time she isn't the least upset, thank goodness.
Anyone got a nice son in his mid-thirties with his own teeth, hair is optional, a job, no children and a good sense of humour.

Good morning, grey but dry here. Lunch in Durham today smile

gramps Wed 11-Jun-14 23:24:30

good morning ladies! I have not been around here are some while but have found some familiar names which I recognise.Has Nell's old cafe gone for good? I looked for charcoal in case it had burnt down. I got chased away by the local art college as that this is the property of the senior art class!

It was good fun and most folks joined in at times. I still get around -but slowly now due to painful arthritis in my knees and Parkinson's upsetting my balance, etc.

All good wishes to you Ladies and thanks for making me so welcome!

'Byeeee!

NfkDumpling Thu 12-Jun-14 07:19:24

Mornin' All. Another beautiful sunny day here. There'll be a hose pipe ban soon!
Waiting in for a wine delivery - SiL and BiLs 50 wedding anniversary tomorrow and some of the booze is for them - so I hope it turns up on time.

kittylester Thu 12-Jun-14 07:22:28

This is very confusing!!

Good morning all!

Another bright start in North Leicestershire. Sainsbury's today and then off to Derby to collect DGD1 from school and to provide her and her brother with tea while DD1 and SiL take builder round a house they are hoping to buy. To my mind the house is no better than the one they are in and achieves nothing - but what do I know?

Enjoy your days everyone sunshine

Agus Thu 12-Jun-14 07:27:43

Nice to hear from you again Gramps. Sorry to hear the sad news about your dear wife. xx sad

Having coffee in the garden then looking forward to a day out with DD1.

Gramps my sympathies.
Raining here today, sea day en route to Stockholm, forecast is only for 14C but sunny.

PRINTMISS Thu 12-Jun-14 07:50:38

Good morning all, yes Kitty it is a bit confusing, but we can forgive Gramps can't we, and send him our love? We have a beautiful morning here, and I agree any moment now, there will be a hose-pipe ban, all part an parcel of living in this country! I am definitely having a rest today, I have been working flat out in the garden for three days, so today I am going to enjoy it. Enjoy your days

Lona Thu 12-Jun-14 08:10:56

HollyDaze Thu 12-Jun-14 08:33:11

Good morning.

Beautiful sunny start to the day again here - the grass is in great danger of being runover by the lawnmower today (if I can bothered that is).
