Morning all on this beautiful day! We've done the supermarket run early (back home by 7.30am) and I'm off to book group later this morning. This afternoon the chap is coming to lay new flooring in the cloakroom. I am loving this perfect weather and even my achey joints are smiling for a change.

Happy days everyone. sunshine

Yesterday it was Thursday for some today it's two Thursdays, I think all this sun is getting to people.

Another lovely day in East Sussex. Today Mungo goes to our daughters for his holiday and we go on holiday tomorrow.

The landline phone decided to stop receiving calls yesterday although we can make them and the Broadband is fine. Told the BT lady in India, who spoke good English, that we would not be at home after today but her English did not stretch that far! We will therefore have to wait until we get home next month to get it fixed.

Beautiful day here in Fife, so we're heading along to the beach this morning for a walk. This afternoon helping DGD with runs to the tip (oh, bliss hmm) as she's moving house at the weekend.

Good morning all and Hello to Gramps because I don't think I've met you before. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss and I hope you popping in here for some company. flowers

Yesterday our weather forecast was that it would be warm , getting warmer before the weekend. It reached over 34C yesterday and is already 29C today. What am I doing? (apart from having a break with GN)I'm walking backwards and forewards moving things out the house ready for the first guests of the season. I think I'd rather be at sea with Galen. grin

You really are a lovely lot,
your comments made me think,
With friends like you I'll hang around,
I might even buy some pink!
I really am a lucky guy
good neighbours all around.
I've even got a lifeline cord,
and when I fall I'm safely found?
My knees, they are a right old pain and make me want to curse,
especially when they crack.
If I knew how they came to me I'd take the perishers back!
I'm not complaining now you know, I used to tell my wife,
I'm just saying things out loud-and with " Parky"you are
the centre of my life!
I miss you now my Darling girl
, but I know that you are near,
I ache inside for you my love
but never shed a tear!

Bit late in the day to say good morning (considering I'm off to bed soon). I'm new to gransnet but just wanted to say so sorry for your loss gramps. Your wife was a lucky lady to have someone love her like you obviously did. Like your poem.
