Which at first seemed rather banal (ok, dodgy ehyme bit looks as if it should )

(Well, yes, you could say the same about 'bough' and 'cough'...)

humph! I can't even spell "rhyme" correctly! It would only take the teensiest bit of a thingy to make it rhyme, for example if you pronounced it "banal" rather then "banarrll"

Akshewally, Ana that could be an idea for a limerick that looks as though it rhymes, but when read aloud, doesn't!

When some dogs from the hunt

Chased them all up the wrong channel.

"Chased them off into the wrong channel." Would be better for the rhythm.

I think papaoscar is setting us up here with the most challenging rhymes he can think of.
