I thought that we had already reached the 1000 messages. Maybe we haven't. Anyway...for when we do, here's the new extension. I'm making it warm and cosy and there are date slices to be enjoyed. Rory has claimed his corner of the sofa.
Sook I still haven't emptied the washing machine. Far too busy having fun! About to post pics of me with the card Bags sent form my Granspals. For good measure, also pics of my lovely new chair. So chuffed! [
At risk of sounding like your mother, do look after yourself for the rest of the winter! Stay really warm and don't go tripping over the rocks on the beach!
It's lovely to have you back in your kitchen! There are plenty of people here to cook whatever you wish.
So good to see you back home Soop, all hale ad hearty, and glad that Mr Soop`s perked up a little, hope his wedding ring turns up, a replacement is never quite the same as the ONE, is it?
More thanks. Haven't done much other than catch up with you lovely lot...as far as I know, the washing machine is still waiting to be emptied.
number Still no wedding ring. Mr soop is distressed. It must have slipped off his finger when he had cold hands. It would be a lovely surprise to come across it.
jane and tiggy Yes...baked potato with a little smoked salmon and a blob of cottage cheese. Yummy! Now...if I don't get off this pooter I'm going to become chair-bound. Naughty!
I shall return tomorrow. An early to you all. I've had a right royal time on Gransnet.
Delighted to hear you are home again - there's nothing like "your ain folk" is there? At the risk of saying I told you so - well, I told you so. I may not be a doctor but you sounded just like someone with pneumonia before you went in. Thank goodness the right anti b's did the trick. Now you must take things easy and build up some strength (a bit of circuit traing, weights, etc the usual) seriously there's a lot of winter still to come - so snuggle up in that gorgeous chair and hibernate (I am surprised it is still there - if I could have slipped it into my handbag there would have been a big empty space in the kitchen!!)
Thank goodness you appear to have perked up soop. I am hoping that mrsoop is feeling less peaky himself. You want to stay warm indoors and hopefully have your family cook Christmas lunch for the pair of you so that you do not have the hassle of thinking about buying food for the big day.
It's really you, soop! So lovely to have you back among your friends. We've missed you so much. I've only just caught up with the glad news; been out to lunch then the U3A Christmas party. Oh, what a giddy social whirl! All the best to Mr Soop whom we have got to know and love too - and of course, Rory. ((((hugs))))
A thousands Hoorahs! Can you hear them? So pleased you are feeling better, suddenly I'm feeling I can get on with Christmas, sending a winter garland for your door, with a tartan ribbon, of course!
I am so pleased you are home for Christmas, It must of been so difficult for both you and MrSloop being so far from home, My very best wishes to you and MrSloop so that you get stronger and enjoy your Christmas together
