I thought that we had already reached the 1000 messages. Maybe we haven't. Anyway...for when we do, here's the new extension. I'm making it warm and cosy and there are date slices to be enjoyed. Rory has claimed his corner of the sofa. wink

Bags that's very good news. Hopefully, soop will be able to go home soon. Thanks for passing on our good wishes.

Well done Bags you are a true friend. Lovely to hear that Soop is making progress smile

ffinnochio Mon 09-Dec-13 23:27:40

Beginning to sound as if soop is starting to mend, what with wanting treacle tart and custard an' all. More vibes > > > > onwards to Oban.

Thanks B for the update.

Good to hear that Soop is improving, if only slightly, Mr Soop must be so relieved. Thank you so much Thatbags for the regular updates.

Get Well Very Soon Soop!! xxxx

Ariadne Tue 10-Dec-13 09:28:49

Hoping for even better news today! You are right about soop, sel. Never a cross word from her.

thatbags Tue 10-Dec-13 11:20:26

News not so good this morning: blood pressure low, heart racing, visible shakes, but she is managing to read the book I took along.

Nonu Tue 10-Dec-13 11:26:36

flowers and I do hope that Soop improves soon. What a rotten time to be so unwell.

nightowl Tue 10-Dec-13 11:40:35

I'm very late to this thread but wanted to add my good wishes for a speedy recovery for soop and to thank you for the regular updates bags. It's not the same on gransnet without soop's calming caring posts. ((Hugs)) to the soops and to you bags for all you are doing.

The kitchen is very crowded and if soop does not get better and home soon we will need another extension to cope with the sheer volume of gns who are waiting anxiously. This comfort eating while waiting for news does nothing for my weight.

I am assuming that she has pneumonia.

annodomini Tue 10-Dec-13 12:12:48

Bags. That does sound worrying. Poor soop, she doesn't deserve this suffering. Sending love and hope.

yourusername123 Tue 10-Dec-13 12:26:26

Come on soop! Think of that treacle pudding and custard.

Go girl! X

Bellasnana Tue 10-Dec-13 13:00:27

Oh dear - had hoped for better news today. Thoughts and prayers going to the soops flowers

janeainsworth Tue 10-Dec-13 13:13:42

Thank goodness Soop was taken to hospital when she was, and not delayed any more. Thinking of you with love Soop.

ffinnochio Tue 10-Dec-13 13:41:51

Continuing get well vibes and sunshine racing along ~~~~~~~~~to Oban.
Thinking of you soop.

Come on Soop, get better, we`re all waiting anxiously to hear that you`re up and at `em again! xx

NfkDumpling Tue 10-Dec-13 17:16:46

Thatbags - are you visiting again soon? If so, please can you take these flowers to Soop? I'll just leave them in the porch - the kitchen's a bit full of anxious bodies.

Icyalittle Tue 10-Dec-13 21:27:49

thatbags It's so good to have the news and updates, thank you. More love and good wishes on their way to soop from Wiltshire, and to Mr Soop too. We are probably going to have to apologise for wearing out the rug in front of the sofa with all our pacing anxiously around. Isn't there something useful we could do for when she is home? Chop wood or make mince pies or something?

whenim64 Tue 10-Dec-13 21:48:34

Oh, I'm sorry to hear soop is still wobbly. She must feel quite weak after the last few days. Cheering you on from the sidelines, soop. Get better soon flowers
