I thought that we had already reached the 1000 messages. Maybe we haven't. Anyway...for when we do, here's the new extension. I'm making it warm and cosy and there are date slices to be enjoyed. Rory has claimed his corner of the sofa. wink

Tell her not to rush things - better a few more days in hospital now and then real rest and recovery at home. We so often tend to want to be out of hospital at all costs (and no wonder) that sometimes it is too soon and you can finish up worse off and possibly facing readmission.
Healing vibes for a full recovery and above all patience (that's why they are called "patients" you know! flowers

I'm a bit late looking in tonight but am adding my best wishes.
Hoping for better news tomorrow xx

From soop just now: "Hoping new antibiotic ready to kick arse! Legs like knitting. Been on nebuliser, had coolish shower, brushed hair – ready to party. Staff/wardmates are a much needed tonic. Miss you lot a lot."

That is a definite start. She does seem to be a tad better today although she feels like death warmed up still.

I'm not at all sure if I'm doing the right thing here...I'm Mister Soop, and I'm passing on a message from my dearest darling, who is still rather poorly in Lorn and Islands Hospital in Oban. She says she doesn't feel any better, but she is more positive than before she left on Saturday afternoon, and has some of her appetite back, which surely is a good sign. I have been barred from visiting, because I have a mild form of the problem that Soop started with, and it would not help either of us if that was to become worse. [These are her strict instructions, and I would not dare to invoke her ire!] So we have a cosy cough down the phone with each other several times a day! We all hope the antibiotics will do their job soon, and that Soop will be back in the kitchen with all her many friends.

Best wishes from Mister Soop

Lona Wed 11-Dec-13 12:31:03
