................after a fairly dry morning, suddenly decided you really needed something nice for your lunch, and got your bike out, only to find when approximately three yards down the road the wind got up and the heavens opened with a really cold, driving rain, would you:

a. Press on regardless, with thoughts of M&S old fashioned white crusty bread, on-the-vine Rosa tomatos, and iced chelsea buns, as encouragement.

or

b. Turn back and make do with Hovis wholemeal sliced and Waitrose half-fat cheese.

Good mac, no gloves, stupid footwear. (hmm)

You can guess which I did. And halfway along the river towpath I just wanted to get off the bike, stand very still, and HOWL!!! It was sooo cold and sooo wet!

It was the right decision in the end though.smile Lunch was very nice. smile

Love sweetcorn, love tuna - hate them mixed up together - it doesn't make sense to me. hmm

Really hate that combination - why would you do that to tuna? Plain tuna with either a hint of vinegar or mayo is sufficient

Love tuna sandwiches with mayo , lettuce and cucumber smile

Maniac, I should have said THANK YOU for the recipe. My DH and my daughter would really like that so perhaps I'll make one for them, and have a taste too. Might surprise myself! smile

I used to do the same with sardines, my family loved it.
