We need a frost to bring the last of the leaves down, I reckon.

I think they should put Christmas back a month this year because of the unseasonable weather.

Well its 12.42 been to bed and have got back up again.Some one has stuffed my pillow with bircks that is the only reason I can come up with as to why my pillow has become so uncomfortable !
Sleep seems to be staying away from me again tonight , at 7pm I could have nodded off wish I had gone to bed then !

I am! Bet you've gone back to sleep now, Annika. I was hot - and it's not hormones any more; I put the winter duvet on yesterday, because there was a frost, but it's much warmer tonight. Heigh ho! Having a of peppermint tea.

Oh Ariadne if only I'd known - we could have had a chat at half past 3! Went back to sleep and then couldn't wake up at all until the decorator was banging on the door at 8.15

Didn't get to sleep till just after half 5 woke up at 20 past 8 roll on bed time (need a sleeply head smiley on here me thinks !) so I will make do with a as I need one !

Think an afternoon nap is definitely on the cards - a Beaujolais evening tonight and I must be prepared!

Anyone awake yet? I've just had what the French call a 'blanc noir' - white night - which means a sleepless night of tossing and turning.

Good morning you early risers. Poor Butternut, that is the worst,can you catch up today, or will that make it worse? I woke at 5.30. but couldn't quite get myself down here to go on this. Am off for my swim nowbut as the mornings get colder, it takes great resolve to do it. luckily the swimming pool is less than a five minute walk. or I don't think it would happen

...and I'm off out for my early morning walk, then back for a long hot shower (the best bit) - that'll blow the night's cobwebs away and put a spring in my step.

Awake at stupid o' clock, convinced I'd heard the back door being rattled. It was probably nothing but I've got all lights blazing in the house now. Oh well, at least it's a flying start to the day.

Morning all! Quite late for me; but I really thought it was earlier so that was a nice surprise.

Good morning! DH been up at 6 every day this week. Already gone to work. But I was awake at 5. Dawn just breaking and I suspect it might be first frosty one of the autumn here. It was snowy this time last year.

I nodded off again in the armchair bags. Your panto visit sounds very festive!
