slept with my headphones in my ears and my radio on all night. 12.30 till 10 this morning. I use the radio as a sleep aid. I wake up for short periods in between, have a little listen and find it sends me back to sleep.

Anyone else do this?

It has to be spoken word. Music doesn't do it.

On saturday night I dreamt..that I went to my usual bank..and this counter assisitant came dashing over to me...he said "we have found this bank account in your name that has been gathering dust"!! he said there is nearly half a million pound in it...ohh hey!! it was so realistic...you when you wake up and not sure if you have dreamt it or what !! but it ws so real as it was the bank that I do use!!!! strange thing is one of the bank people have called me in to go and have an "overview" of my/our account..blaaaaaaa..its Natwest and they try and drag you in every so often to see if they can tweek!! your account..in other words they want you to consolidate evrything you have and take out another loan!!! they seem to entice you just when you are nearing paying off your existing loan!! but I am not! in the mood to be cajouled today.........so have primed myself lol.....I will wait for the usual "have you got house insurance and can we find you a better quote"!.... ok well best go and make myself look presentable ...bfn all.smile

Has your mind ever truly boggled? I have a picture in my head of jangly (faceless of course because she HASN'T POSTED A PHOTO yet) wearing headphones and with a sock over her head as she snuggles down to sleep.

BOGGLE (MACMILLAN DICTIONARY DEFINITION)
([INTRANSITIVE/TRANSITIVE] if the mind boggles, or if something boggles the mind, you cannot imagine it because it is too strange, unpleasant, or confusing.)confused

I don't put the sock over my head. hmm It just lies across my eyes. In the summer its just a sock, in the winter its a bedsock. It does get lost in the night and I have to jump around in the bed locating it.

The old feller puts up with a lot. smile

I'm not using the grin anymore because Elegran thinks its my teeth. hmm

So they are multi-tasking socks?

I just thought on one occasion that it looked as though you were doing a teeth-bared menace, a la chimp!

(When a chimp grins at you, look out. It is a threat, not a smile.
Also, in gorilla society, it is very rude to stare straight at someone unless you are being challenging - in which case, look out - the gorilla will beat you in a fight if you wind him up. Gorilla good manners is to look near someone and just glance at them briefly and then away again)

Sorry, went off-topic there.
