etheltbags, sorry to hear your GD is having investigations. I hope that it is not as serious as feared, everything crossed for you.

Almost 20 years ago I had a little boy in my class who had kidney cancer. They removed the kidney and he had some chemotherapy treatment. It was a tough year for everyone.
I bump into him now and again pushing his baby son around town. The treatment is very effective and we can live with just one kidney.
I still hope the tests are negative though. Best wishes to you all.

We had some tests today and they think the lump is due to an infection. She still may need a biopsy but must take antibiotics first. Thank you for all your kind comments
