...........how soon will the supermarkets start their Christmas ad frenzy and who will be first?

(Apart from ASDA which is little better than a Car Boot market these days.)

I’ve already had an email from a hotel we previously stayed at, with details of Christmas breaks 😩

It's still June!

I don't want to be reminded of Christmas when shops start playing carols and Christmas songs in August.

Yes lets get the sprouts on, order the Turkey and all the trimmings ready for the big day! No way am I going to start thinking about the C word in July!

Surely you've had the sprouts on since the start of June! Shame on you if you're just getting round to it now!! They'll never be properly mushy cooked if they're not under way by now.

Dear, oh dear, these young people have no idea about cookery.

I love C*******s but even I draw the line in July. Apart from the sprouts of course! 🤣

Shurrup about it, it's still June for heavens sake! Isn't it bad enough we get the first load of Christmas tatt landing in shops towards the end of August. I appreciate booking a fixture in advance is something that probably needs to be done months in advance. There are times though it seems as soon as we get it over for one year, a brief time elapses before it starts all over again hmm
