Yes we had quite a lot of rain in East Yorkshire last night. It was lovely.

It's pouring here now, north east.

Here too in south Manchester. A good 20 minute downpour.

One of my drains is buggered, I need to get round to sorting that

We had some rain early morning as the drive was samp when I got up but unfortunately none since. The temperature is lower but it is overcast and so muggy. We are near where there have been fires and houses have burnt down we could do with a good downpour for a fee hours to help put out any lingering fires. The poor fireman and support workers ,just be exhausted. My heart goes out to the people who have lost their homes.

Frustrating day here in North Yorkshire. Mixed heat, sometimes grey cloud but coolish, and looked like it would rain any minute, then felt hot and stuffy, no wind. Then the most annoying bit as I drove the car, where there was the very lightest of minute rain, which if you put the wipers on, it just scraped across the glass and smeared it, so had to stop and clean it properly. Here I am now , nearly midnight, with windows open and too warm to go to sleep but dont think we are going to be lucky and get a shower. Ah well tomorrow is another day!

We have had over an hour of rain in the early hours this morning, Bedfordshire.

Rained on and off all day in north Lancs. Not always heavy, but enough to stop me hanging washing out.

North Norfolk coast - rain two nights running. Quite a lot last night and much cooler temperatures means tatsome will sink in instead of just evaporating.

Rain last night in the West Midlands, still quite warm here, expecting rain again tonight.

Yes what a shock! I put the washing out on the line it was overcast but that doesn't usually mean anything it's been dry here since June. Lo and behold wet drops started dropping from the sky, ah that must be rain! I remember the feel and sound of it now! It continued for a short while, I drove to my local town bought a couple of things, it was quite blissful walking about in cooler temperatures, only low 20s I think, even the drizzle felt good, I never thought I'd say that.

I'll give it a nudge into Surrey Sarnia, I'm only few miles over the border into West Sussex.

My whippet, who will sleep 23 out of 24 hours unless forced to go for a walk, tends to want to go out several times during the evening, and sometimes in the night, too. Usually when I've sat down to watch something on tv that I've been looking forward too all day [can any other sighthound owners relate to this ?] It happened last night as usual. But she got to the back door, ran outside for a few seconds and, on being confronted by something falling from the sky that she no longer recognised, ran straight back into the house and slept through till 7 am [breakfast time].

Lot cooler here in East Anglia & a smatter of rain early but only dribble since despite my weather app showing heavy rain shower! Yup blinked & missed it again! If anyone has some rain that they dont want send it this way please?

Having said earlier there was no rain in south Hant, I got soaked walking back to the car park after a U3a meeting.
The weather app said cloudy but dry so I didn’t take a brolly! 🤷‍♀️
