Just to let GNs know.

I have just received an e-mail in my Inbox saying my road tax expired on 30 June and a link to make a payment. This is one of the latest scams doing the rounds.

Needless to say I reported it, sent it to Junk and deleted it without opening it, as my road tax has not expired.

It's so easy to be taken in by some of these scams.

A timely warning. Thank you.

Thanks for the warning.

It's easy to check if your car tax and MOT (if applicable) are in date by entering your registration on the government check website:

I think this or something similar has been around for a while as I've never owned a car and seem to have deleted lots of emails about my tax expiring.

I have been getting emails apparently from Microsoft saying that I must open a link to read revised Terms and Conditions. I am deleting but it looks and sounds convincing.

All the scams are weary making. If thats a word.
