Refusal to Deliver

On the recommendation of a G'netter, I tried to order some Oxo poultry shears from Amazon. Despite having used the sales site for years, they stated that they were not able to deliver to my address. Does anyone have any idea why? I tried a month or so ago and again today.

I am having trouble ordering a knife.
DH tried and he is refused for a different reason.

Mine was something to do with, my card does not align.
His said his age was wrong! Or some such.
