Good Morning Monday

Good morning, up early today as it's yoga this morning. Hope it does my back some good.
Grey at the moment in Northampton.
A lovely day yesterday with DD and DSil. Walked with the dogs around the grounds of a stately home, then cream tea. Back to mine for Chinese take-away while we watched rugby on tv. Sadly not a good result for our team. DS and DGDs appeared with presents and cards which was lovely.

DS1 is taking me out for lunch today. It will be lovely to spend time with him on my own - doesn't happen often!

DD, DGD and DGS called with flowers, a card and a new watering can for me yesterday so I felt very spoilt. Then DS called too. A happy Mum here.

This morning we are going to Portsmouth to watch HMS Queen Elizabeth leave port. It is a tight fit through the harbour entrance as she is somewhat broad of beam. (I sympathise!) She is going back to Rosyth for some maintenance in dry dock. It is always a spectacle with the crew standing all round the edge of the decks and I shall feel very proud and patriotic to see her leave.

Good morning everyone from a chilly South Manchester. The sun is just coming up behind the Pennines where I can see a plane coming in to land. Commuters arriving at the train station across the road are in coats and boots.

No plans for today which is nice after a weekend spent with family. Hope everybody has a good Monday whatever your plans or none. x

Ooh just realised it’s All Fool’s Day!

Good morning from a cloudy Glasgow.

I am going into the rheumatology day ward today, for some treatment on my hands and hopefully some pain relief.
I should have had this appointment weeks ago, but I " slipped through the net!".
I'm disappointed it has taken so long, I was supposed to have a discussion with my consultant today about proposed new medication, however he won't be there.☹️

Had a lovely day yesterday. DD had cooked a meal for 11 of us. My son came round for a couple of hours, as his wife was working (she is a Police Officer).

Today the Carpenter is starting work on the Kitchen, so no cooker etc this week. Looks like a few meals out

Good morning from the NE coast. Much cooler this morning than it has been.

I’ve had a poor nights sleep with palpitations/heart racing and horrible thoughts and I can’t belive it’s almost time to leave for “that place” I could really do with having that hour back.

Good Morning from a dull Fife, however it’s calm, no wind. Had a lovely Mother’s a day yesterday and today is another day and off to collect our new car. Been waiting a few weeks but that’s it here. I don't usually wake up this early....I'm not a morning person. But went to bed early last night (10 pm is early for me), after a couple of glasses of Prosecco at my son's house. And besides, my right knee is playing up again. Must see the GP at some point.

Good Morning All , grey and wet here in Co Armagh . Out later to buy some lamps and then visit the garden centre for compost , hoping to sew seeds , the plastic greenhouse was put up yesterday by SIL , I know it is going to be cold this week but I am itching to get started

A change in the weather and it looks like rain, a bit of a come down from last week but I suppose we can expect some April showers at some point.

Hope those who are under the weather will improve as the day goes on as we now never know what we're waking up to.
Nothing planned so far so I'll see how the day pans out as regards dates for the gas engineers to start-----not looking forward to the further disruption etc.

Good morning.A dull start in Shropshire.Need to phone the insurance company as soon as they open as they promised payment last week and it has not arrived??collecting new car tomorrow so need it all sorting.
