Just an inch or so would make all the difference. Well it would to me. But before you get carried away, this isn’t a saucy suggestion. Sorry.
There are several ways that inch would be helpful
Being an inch or so taller. Oh I hate being short. And I seem to have got shorter as I get older. In a crowd, I’m the one jumping up and down behind the six foot six giant of a man standing at the front. And nowadays, if you go to a concert, although there may be allocated seating, the second the star walks on stage, EVERYONE stands up, and stays on their feet till the last encore. And even in tiered seating, I am craning and shifting about to even catch a glance of the person I’ve just spent a fortune trying to see. So an extra inch would be useful
Being a rounder shaped lady, the loss of an inch or two would make my life easier. An inch off the hips and inch off the tum. Long haul flights would be so much easier if I wasn’t concerned about my spreading hips encroaching on the person I’m sitting next to. Even worse if that person is broad around the beam as well. The whole flight becomes almost intimate as our bodies touch and warmth is generated. And an extra inch off my middle would make those accidental looks in the mirror more bearable. You know the ones. You are in an unfamiliar shop, you look around and there’s a short, chubby woman dressed like you. Only it isn’t a stranger, you have caught sight of yourself, sideways in a mirror. So yes, one extra inch off would be welcome
And finally, that extra inch I crave. Could it be on my legs please? I can never seem to find trousers that are the length of my legs. I so often end up hemming them or turning the cuffs over to fit.
Anyone else need an extra inch?
