Do you remember what the weather was like on the day your babies were born? I've just seen the tweet of someone who does and I thought: "Gosh! I haven't a clue!" I suppose my thoughts were on other things on the way to hospital. I can't even remember how I got there in the case of DD1! Probably a taxi as we didn't have a car.
What I do remember about that time is that my husband, who conveniently worked in a university genetics department right next door to the hospital went in to work to tell them he wouldn't be in that day as his wife was in labour. Most of them didn't even know he was married. Quiet type!
It's possible he did go in in the afternoon as DD got a move on, but I've actually no idea.

What has survived in your garden with minimal or no watering?
!
- Our second baby was born at home in November ( birthday coming up soon), and it was so foggy I couldn't take him out for a month!
No damage done but I turned round and went home again!
