In the supermarket this morning when I overheard a little girl very patiently and calmly explaining to her (I presume) mother why she shouldn't buy the vegetables she was looking at. Her reasons included they looked funny, they had been in the dirt (!) she didn't like the look of them wouldn't eat them and it would be better for mum to spend the money on something she would eat - like the sausage roll being sold at the hot food counter! She was putting her case in such a logical manner I think she will grow up to either be a scientist or a politician!
