In the supermarket this morning when I overheard a little girl very patiently and calmly explaining to her (I presume) mother why she shouldn't buy the vegetables she was looking at. Her reasons included they looked funny, they had been in the dirt (!) she didn't like the look of them wouldn't eat them and it would be better for mum to spend the money on something she would eat - like the sausage roll being sold at the hot food counter! She was putting her case in such a logical manner I think she will grow up to either be a scientist or a politician!

Gordon Ramsay named his turkeys Ainsley, Antony and Nigella. His pigs were called Trinny and Susannah and the lambs were Charlotte and Gavin.

My favourite is the Duke of Plazatoro -
"He led his regiment from behind
He found it less exciting"
Reminds me of someone I know (not on here.)

I've even been known to eat 2 sausage rolls one after the other .....

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 14-Aug-16 17:29:32

Heard enough of it at my son's school to last me, thank you jane.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 14-Aug-16 17:28:26

You have mocked another poster. Several times. I think it might have made you feel clever. Or superior.

Jane10 Sun 14-Aug-16 17:27:58

You need to listen to more G&S jings. Its clever stuff, great music and some terrific characters.

Anya Sun 14-Aug-16 17:27:43

I've got three new chickens that keep pecking at each other, just decided on names for them....anyone like to hazard a guess? grin

A clue.....why would I post that on this thread?

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 14-Aug-16 17:26:05

Conjures up pictures of old maids and stuffed shirts.

DaphneBroon Sun 14-Aug-16 17:25:30

Oh silly me for thinking it applied to a post on that thread, or even anywhere around then.
Any light to shed on what you mean or do I have to trawl through every thread and post for the last 4 years to find how I have erred and strayed?
hmm

I truly hate Gilbert and Sullivan.
