North/South divide

We're all fine. It's only just above our knees, so no need to worry yet! We've been stitched into our clothing since the end of October and we'll just wrap our feet in newspaper, rub on the goose grease, and wait for the Summer! ?.

I hope you have the stiff brown paper under the vest and the liberty bodice * Greyduster*.. We have about 4 inches now and half an hour ago we had an urgent knocking on the door my S's car had slid down our slightly sloping drive and was half way across the road. Hand brake was fully on, must have been impacted snow .

OMG annsixty that must have been an awful fright, luckily there were no accidents.

The sun has been shining in NW London for hours but it is a tad nippy. Too soon for bikini and coffee in the garden- maybe next week.

I'm hoping it melts quickly as I'm babysitting tonight at my son's house. Hope you got son's car sorted safely.

No snow here its been very sunny for a nice walk this morning, I wouldn't mind a little bit of snow we've only had a sprinkle this Winter so far. (maybe I should be careful what I wish for)
I hope its not too bad for those of you who have it , stay safe.

Still heavy here Lona we really do have micro climates in this country. Car was fine and the drive is now cleared and gritted.

annsixty exactly the same thing happened to me a few years ago. I stood there with my mouth open as my car started to slide backwards down DD's drive. Fortunately, her quick thinking neighbour managed to stick two large stones off his rockery behind the back wheels before it reached he road. Scary stuff!

Its so sunny and amazingly warm I actually took the dog out for a walk around the country park. It was lovely and I have proof

Beautiful day in Kent 9c in the car. I walk from car to shop at Asda with just a thin jersey top on....... and skirt n undies of course.

I actually had twenty minutes lying down my garden bench in the sun this morning. All I needed was a bowl of cherries and Summer would have been back.

Sorry about the snow up North. Although a nice fire could be quite cozy.

No snow in Northumberland either. We've had plenty of rain though. Bit disappointing really!?

I've just had to move from the conservatory to the lounge because of the heat. We could have had lunch in the garden, it's that warm.

And still snowing!

It's stopped here now and the road is clear but if it freezes tonight it will be very slippy!

No snow in Angus. Crisp and sunny all day but getting colder as sun is just starting to go down. Wonder if we'll have snow tomorrow. GCs here but no wellies!
