What 3 things do you hate most?

1. The loudness of sound at the cinema

2. Unknown item in the bagging area at self-checkout

3. Bin men who drop rubbish in the street.

Cold Calls
Christmas Crap in late Sept/ early Oct.

1. Cyclists who treat pedestrians as lesser mortals.

2. People in cars throwing their rubbish out of the windows.

3. Salespeople on the phone or in writing who address me by my first name. If I write to e.g. the Chairman of BT, I write to Dr. Mr. X; why do his minions address me as Grump?

People dropping litter

Hallowe'en

11+ and selective education.

Cold callers who think it is my fault that they wasted their time phoning me.

Drivers who park blocking a narrow pavement and, when I comment that a woman with a pram and a toddler had to walk in the road to get past, reply that "I was only there for five fucking minutes"

Youths who ring my doorbell with a holdall of stuff to sell, and, when I reply that I never buy anything from anyone at the door, call me a miserable old cow. Less of the old, please.

Inane tv presenters who talk a load of cr** and think they are being funny.

Litter at the back of a local grammar school I walk by.

I agree with Russell Brand- I can't stand him.

Litter including polythene bags along the verges of roads

Loud applause and screaming on the tv when someone does something well (can't watch Strictly any more for the inane noise)

School run mums who block the way and are then arrogant and rude

Drivers who don't indicate at junctions and roundabouts.

People announcing on Facebook that they've done all the hoovering and washing up and have got the roast in the oven

Insincerity

Drivers who pull out in front of you at the last minute and then you realise there's no- one behind you for ages and they only had to wait another minute to pull out safely!

Parents who swear at their children or scream at them in public. If they do this in public what do they do to the poor kids in private!

Waiting on hold to inane music every time you have to make a public service enquiry phone call!

And, like others, people who park without any consideration eg, on the zigzags by the pedestrian crossing, on the pavement or double parking outside the school!

Litter in my area( obviously if it's in Sheffield say, or Plymouth, then I can't see it)
Any cold calls, or at the door.
Sales assistants who believe they are too good for the job they are doing.

1. Dog dirt that people do not clean up. My town has pavements littered with it. The same for Scottish beaches and woods we visited in summer.
2. People parking cars half on the pavement so grandchild's buggy cannot pass and I have to walk in the road
3. Litter everywhere and nobody will pick any up that doesn't belong to them!

1. Housework, it's such a bore
2. Religious people ringing my doorbell and assuming I want to speak to them.
3. Cars parked across two spaces. Apparently the drivers do it because they have a fancy car and don't want anyone too close to it.

1. Cold, damp weather that gets into my bones
2. People who speak loudly on their phones in the confines of a train carriage.
3. Emptying the dishwasher!

Plus most of the above, mentioned by others.

I don't hate anything or anyone. It's a waste of energy and time, and it doesn't solve anything. I'd be happier on a personal level if;
1) People were kinder and more considerate in all things
2) Cold calling, either in person at the door or from call centres, wherever they are located, was banned
3) If everyone reading this post had a really good day!
