I think it's quite funny though anno when people take off the girl who was in 'Miranda' and say 'Bear with, bear with' - intentionally taking the mickey!

When someone says 'Bear with me'. I'm tempted to say - and sometimes do say - 'Where?'

No, Bellanonna. That happened to me last week when I was shopping for a bra in M&S. The hangers were closely packed together and the size I wanted was invariably at the back. When I thought I had wrestled one free, half a dozen came with it and the useless little hanger broke.

"Bless"

One more for the list but maybe this only happens to me?

Reaching into a shop clothes rail to pull out the item I'm interested in and its hanger is invariably tangled up with several other hangers.

1. Drivers who accelerate into my safe distance, behind the car in front and, more so when roads are icy.

2. Hate TV presenters "having a go," knowing they'll make a hash of it.

3. Bad grammar.

Yes, wheniwasyourage when the lovely waitress asked if everything was all right the other lunch-time I was tempted to say 'well, the meal is crap not great but the company is wonderful'

I haven't always found it obvious that the wine is 'corked' unless it's tasted (mousy taste ugh).

Cleaning then someone walks in with leaves, dog poo or dirt stuck to their shoes.

I'm sorry, but I just hate it. Strangely enough, I don't mind 'bless him/her/'em'...

I don't know about anything else as I don't usually think about things I hate unless they are brought to my attention as cute was today. Spit!! (so to speak )

Waiters who interrupt a conversation to ask "Is everything all right for you?". It doesn't happen in restaurants where they are sure enough of themselves to know that if there is something wrong, you will complain and they will put it right.

The ridiculous custom of tasting the wine in restaurants. If it's corked it will be obvious and they will put it right, without you looking like a prat who knows about wine!

Places in the UK where the lavatories are referred to as "rest rooms". On this side of the Atlantic that sounds like something belonging to an undertaker.

Dogs barking at me when I'm passing on the public pavement, not even attempting to approach their house/garden. (At least if I'm out at 7.30 on a Sunday morning it might wake the owners up. )

The 6-foot tall men who always sit in front of me at the theatre and can't sit still. (And I agree with clowne about the extras added to the price of tickets.)

What's gronfing ?? Really agree about the "on hold" music. Drives me potty.

1. Dog walkers who let their curs crap outside my house and don't clear it up.

2. The German woman who had an affair with my husband whilst pretending to be my friend.

3. People who rush in front of me when I'm in a supermarket queue and a new checkout opens.
