This poor little kitten PM appeared in my inbox late last night and I wondered if it belongs to anybody here? Because it definitely wasn't meant to come to me. Anybody recognise her it? There is a tag on its collar which says "not a problem" but no name sad

"Thanks for your PM. I couldn't care less, she's always been a boot licker as you said.
Yes. I am in Birmingham the last week of February so we can all meet up there for lunch again if that suits? I'll email you with the attachment tomorrow

X"

I have to say I have chortled heartily at the content and the thought of the blush of the sender, wondering just who (s)he could be meaning!gringrin

Any takers? You know who you are!!

granjura Sun 08-Feb-15 15:33:17

ahahahahahahah the plot thickens - oh go on, post it!

tanith Sun 08-Feb-15 15:37:42

Hmmmmnnnn!! interesting... grin

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 15:37:49

I thought I just did!

Ana Sun 08-Feb-15 15:38:50

Well, you must know who it's from, Soutra. Couldn't you just have PM'd the person concerned informing them that you'd received a message obviously not meant for you? confused

granjura Sun 08-Feb-15 15:42:54

Oh I see- sorry missed the syntax. LOL - oooooops.

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 15:43:07

wink

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 15:44:30

Not exactly. parliamentary friendly language though, is it?

Ana Sun 08-Feb-15 15:47:15

Not me. I'd have said **se licker! grin

granjura Sun 08-Feb-15 15:47:16

Now, shall we open a betting book? All proceeds to a charity of your choice?

But I do think I recognise the style- used to get some of those in the past.

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 16:29:47

Nobody getting that "Oops!" feeling and blush yet?

Anne58 Sun 08-Feb-15 16:31:27

I get an email saying "(persons name) has sent you a message on gransnet". I then go on to GN and check my GN in box.

Soutra , didn't you get an email alert like that ^ up there?

Anne58 Sun 08-Feb-15 16:31:55

PS Def. not me, btw!

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 16:34:18

Oh yes, just wondered whether the sender has realised yet. grin

Ana Sun 08-Feb-15 16:35:33

I think Soutra must know who sent the PM to her. She just doesn't know who it was meant for...

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 16:41:36

Exactly.

janeainsworth Sun 08-Feb-15 17:01:09

Or perhaps more to the point, the bootlicker's identity..........hmm

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 17:03:33

So maybe the person who sent A* (oops) a person a PM last night would now like to get in touch with that person and arrange their lunch where they can continue to slag off discuss the failings in their fellow Gransnetters?

Ana Sun 08-Feb-15 17:03:39

And what's in the mysterious attachment...?

annodomini Sun 08-Feb-15 17:04:00

How very mysterious. 'bootlicker'? I can't imagine how that could apply to any of the independent-minded women on here and I can't believe that anyone would want to own that description!

Riverwalk Sun 08-Feb-15 17:28:23

It's like something from Midsomer Murders! grin

I'd better cancel that ticket to Brum

Soutra Sun 08-Feb-15 17:38:12

Aha!!

Stansgran Sun 08-Feb-15 17:43:12

What???

Ariadne Sun 08-Feb-15 17:43:22

Tee hee! grin

Stansgran Sun 08-Feb-15 17:43:42

Bootlicking in Brum sounds disgusting.
