It's raining in Somerset but the gardens are looking much happier.

Raining. Abandoning plans to plant two Acers today. Twiddling my thumbs.

No rain yet. Tonight I think. Must water greenhouse. (Make it grow?)

I missed the party! Still in PJs, must get dressed soon.

Hoping actually that it will rain tomorrow - will coopt my handyman/ gardener to move furniture if I can! ............Since I can't.

Good afternoon from bonnie Kintyre. Trust everyone is well. The sun is shining. Went on to the beach [alone] this morning and took some lovely photos. As I was about to leave, I tumbled and hit my head and face on a concrete slab. Mr soop went looking for me. Have just returned from 3hrs in A&E. Awful bruising...one eye closed. Bridge of nose cut. Feeling a bit "woolly legged" and have a banging headache. Mr soop has taken a pic. Will add it to the album later. Have a wedding party to attend next week. Doc says, you will have two black eyes by then...

Oh dear soop! A nasty tumble. Hope you feel better soon.

It'll have to be sunglasses at the wedding - you'll be sure to carry them off perfectly.

Oh dear, my father, a gp, when a bride had a black eye (from her intended) sent them to get leeches from the local pond. It worked. So actually does raw steak.

Dull and raining here in North Devon. Have had to re-think the plans for my birthday.

It's much harder getting a plate out through the cat flap than putting it in thy way (retrieving the evidence)
Keys still missing.
Got a strange look this morning from church goers as I sat perched on top of DD's six foot high back gate. Waved happily to them.

Aka what on earth are you babbling about? Have you been at the vodka jelly again?

She's looking after her daughters cat and the house keys are missing Elegran. I'm terrible with other peoples keys; I don't lose them but I find most locks have a knack to them and once found myself looking after my daughters cat but not being able to get into the house. Thankfully it was a terraced house that had a communal back entrance to the gardens.
