Unfortunately I have not yet found any notes that my DH might have left regarding his funeral wishes. ( He died last Thursday, as many of you know, and I thank you most sincerely for your kind words on my previous thread).
So I think I am going for a version of what I would like for my own funeral: a green burial, presided over by a Christian minister.
Any thoughts? Experience?
Weather may be an issue, but I think a small shelter may be available.
Lack of a loo may be a problem!
Will it be far to walk?
Are flowers scattered or laid? No glass or metal vases allowed , I know.
Being Bank Holiday the site is not open so I can’t get official answers.
I am especially interested in any Christian liturgies and hymns used.
