Never been but Gullivers World Milton Keynes isn't too far from you looks like it might be good.

Yes it but my daughter doesn't seem to mind. And she'll be driving! Will be interesting to see if anyone has been. Just looked at gullivers world and it looks very good.

Of course there is always Warner Bros Harry Potter World at Watford we've been and its fantastic but might be a bit old for your grands..

What about Whipsnade Zoo ?

I've been to Peppa Pig World. Unfortunately, it bucketed down but, on the plus side, it was empty.

It took 3 hours to get there from SWales.

Legoland is probably more accessible. Hell on earth, but it's all about the littlies, innit?.

What was peppapig like though? Did the children like it?

Ooer! I forgot we went to Nottingham a few weeks ago and visited Sherwood Forest , we walked easily to the Major Oak where Robins supposed to of been and they have a lovely visitors centre with things for the children a nice restaurant we had a great day there. Or take a picnic and find a spot in the forest to eat.

Not particularly helpful, though! The park itself was nice, and there was something more Peppa -Pig-gy for the younger ones. I'd take a book, though. Glad I did.

Went to peppa pig 2 weeks ago. With GC 5 ,2 and 18 months it is excellent, very clean well done and GC loved it. The other half of the theme park is also excellent, more for the older children and adults to do, but the toddlers still had rides to go on. Google Paultons Park. We had 2 full days and we all had a great time .

The local Granset site for Leicestershire has some lovely things to do on it.
