I'm having a problem remembering the names of all the characters, especially the lawyers.

It’s complete rubbish - I know it’s fiction but this is so far removed from the reality of the law that it’s farcical. Two family lawyers discussed it on Woman’s Hour last week and thought it very damaging in the image it portrayed. Very disappointed that NW got involved - guess she’s very bankable now so not an offer she can refuse

Despite it being farcical as regards the lawyers actions. I'm quiet enjoying it.

I just can’t enjoy something which has such a tenuous hold on reality- in other words is just wrong about so many basic facts of how family law really operates. For me it just gets in the way of any enjoyment as too much suspension of belief is required. The sort of drama I like is one grounded in reality with a good dose of dramatic licence - eg Scott and Bailey

I can't understand a word they're saying. I have perfectly good hearing but the mumbling dialogue and implausible storyline is so difficult to follow that I gave up. Not too keen on all the meaningful side glances either.

I put the sub titles on for all the dramas Chewbacca I don’t think there’s anything wrong with my hearing but I often miss bits in dramas never news or other programmes

Don't know whether I am enjoying it or not but I am enjoying seeing Stephen Mangan on a regular basis.

It grabbed my attention with the first episode but fizzled out last night.

I have not watched the second episode yet but enjoyed the first

Totally agree, disappointed in it too, although I'll probably stick it out just to see if anything improves ( despite GrandadL muttering "what a load if rubbish" in the background!)
Although I thought it was 4 parts and have just noticed it is 6. Might be too much time to invest in!!
Anthony Head character completely annoying!

Well, I am thoroughly enjoying watching Nicola Walker's new haircut and wardrobe, and the second sister's hair and clothes are pretty good too. Not to mention the shoes! Oh, and the wallpaper in Deborah Findlay's office.
I should imagine anyone remotely connected with the legal world is howling with laughter, but as I am not I can happily suspend disbelief and enjoy good acting in an admittedly rubbish plot.
The corner office ought to get a credit too; I am sure I have seen it several times before.

May be very far fetched but I am enjoying interior decor . What is annoying is that they are often communicating by text message which I can't read. It's not so much about the law at the end of the day but who gets off with who and the collateral damage which ensues - oh and power.

It's too complicated for my little brain. I was looking forward to it so much, but found it too muddled with too many people.

I'm finding it rather too complex for 9pm! Also I can't understand what's being said half the time - what's happened to elocution??? I find it difficult to remember the various relationships as well but I'm tempted enough to keep at it - if I've got nothing better to do!

Its all a bit Dallas/Footballers Wives genre but a light bit of TV I don't mind it. Nicola walker is a watchable actress except for the umm err twitching bit she does at times - irritating- probably only me that notices. She didn't do it in Spooks but perfected it in Last Tango.

Talking of interior design, a friend messaged and said, 'they've got your bronze' - theirs was probably the original on which mine is based!

Yep! The children gave it me for mother's day last year because it just fits our family.

If I wanted to look at interiors I d watch a design programme I was expecting a drama

Nicola Walker is just Nicola Walker with her grimaces, silences, expressionless stares, yet again. She might was well scrape her hair back, put dirt under her fingernails and get back to the farm in Yorkshire and do a bit of Last Tangoing In Halifax. Same old same old.

I gave up on the first episode. I found it all contrived and implausible, hard to follow, the dialogue was stilted (when I could hear it) and I didn't warm to any of the awful characters.

I watched episode 1 but wasn’t impressed, so didn’t bother with episode 2.

Looks like I am in the minority then, I am really enjoying it so far

I've just watched the second episode and I agree the storyline isn't brilliant but I'm quite enjoying it and shall continue to watch.

It's mildly entertaining but I can't seem to warm to any of the characters. Also I think it's a bit silly that all these lawyers seem to be inter-connected in some way and so constantly turn up in each other's offices. Having worked in many law firms, it is not a scenario I recognise.

I couldn't read the text messages either and was blaming my new glasses.
