I have just seen a Halloween display in my local TKMaxx! The world has officially gone mad, its only July!

Well I hope everyone walks past it and puts a complaint in that’s ridiculous

Totally ridiculous. The poor shop assistant putting the stuff out sighed and said 'Say nothing, I feel the same!"

Noooo!

as soon as halloween is over they will start on christmas, or even earlier.

I have seen Christmas adverts already. Issued by catering outlets running Christmas lunches.

Premature to say the least.

Mind you, we have a television channel that's is only showing Christmas films, and has been for at least a month. I haven’t watched any.

I make greetings cards, and a web site I buy from are selling their Christmas stuff already

Ridiculous!

Is all about making money so of course shops will get going early with two major spending celebrations on the calendar.
I believe my friend who volunteers in the British Heart Foundation said Xmas cards will be on display by the end of July.
I find it too much and try to avoid the hooplah until the last possible moment.

To make it worse there is now Summerween for those who can't wait until October! Shops are selling all sorts of items with a summer/ Halloween theme e.g pink pumpkin cushions, summerween bedding and you can apparently carve a pineapple in place of a pumpkin 🙄 People will honestly fall for any nonsense and spend their money on utter rubbish. If Halloween was every 10 years it would be too often for me especially since it turned into the US version of trick or treat.
