I'm a Celeb!

It's back at the weekend and, after checking out the line up, I am more than happy with this years celebs. Larry Lamb is going in, along with little Adam out of Emmerdale. Lisa Snowdon and Ola Jordan along with a footballer, comedian, gold medal winner, dancer from Diversity, Scarlett off Gogglebox. Reserves it says are Martin Roberts off Homes under the Hammer and Danny Baker. The only fly in the ointment for me is Carol Vorderman. I do like her, but she does tend to try to hog a show when she is on, like 8 out of 10 cats, she is screaming all over the show. Plus she will be bragging about being a pilot. But, it looks interesting, and something to bring us up to the Festive season. Is anyone else going to be tuning in?

So much editing ,

Its really off putting when the celebs are in the telegraph shack apparently just talking. They are answering specific questions put to them by the producers but we don't hear that. All we get is their responses hence all the ones saying 'I really like Martin but...'
My suspicion is that Larry was told to have a word with Martin.
I'll not forget that he didn't hesitate to dive in to that weed infested lake to rescue Scarlett. That alone made him king of the jungle for me. Of course that was before the producers lost interest in him...

I don't know why but I'm not enjoying it so much this year, it seems a bit 'tame' and more manufactured than in the past. There seem to be no real 'characters'.

I feel the same, LadyGracie. Too many 'joint' trials and not much competition. Didn't they used to be split into two camps for a while?

Plus, an hour and a half some nights is just too long.
