I am sure there must be many of your watching this - I am so enjoying it, once again Kay Mellor has come up with a fascinating story which involves so many other stories. When last night's episode had finished I wished I had the book (if there is one, although I think it is a written for t.v. play) I would have stayed up and read to the end. Lenny Henry is perfect and although I am quite sure all that he says about being able to crack codes, etc, on his new computer is total gobble-de-gook, be makes it sound believable. Looking forward to next week.

But Amy was lying about so many other things you can't trust her. I just don't see what that shooting had to do with anything, or how it added anything to the storyline.

I was amazed the police believed Amy so easily.

I think she was really mean to run off with her bloke like that, but I suppose that's the character she was.

I think the actress who plays Julie has only got that one role. She was just the same in Waterloo Road.

Oh I've got it. she was the home ec teacher in Waterloo Road before the house mother took over.

Although I enjoyed The Syndicate, I don't think it was as good as the 2 previous series have been.

BTW Melanie Hill (who played Julie) used to be married to Sean Bean.

Sean Bean's name has always made me wonder how non-English speakers might cope with pronouncing it.
