Mushrooms sauteed in butter with garlic, on good wholemeal toast, garnished with parsley.
And - toast, with home-made three-fruit marmalade, and sliced banana.

I like the pear, walnut, roquefort combo and always keep tinned pears since someone pointed out that fresh pears are hard to get just right. I also love the gremolata of chopped garlic, parsley and lemon zest on casseroles.

Yes Bags - one of my favourites too. Could vary it to crispy bacon, sauteed mushrooms and homemade bread also!

Often make pear, gorgonzola and walnuts salad. Honey and vinegar dressing.
Very nice with a steak instead of potatoes. Not so filling, and the fruit goes well with meat.
The recipe of pears with cheese has been going for years. It's nice.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's daily programme on More4 is showing some lovely food combinations of three ingredients such as pear, blue cheese and honey or bacon, tomato and cheese.
What would your favourite combinations be? The addition of small quantities of basic items are allowed, such as seasoning.
