Cant wait for the next series to start. Have they named the celebs yet?

There's a few rumours Granny, referred to already on this thread. There'll be a special programme on September 7th to 'reveal' who is taking part. Not too long to wait.

Love Strictly. the judges and dare I say it Bruce, wouldn't be the same without him! Miss Arlene though lusting after all the young boys.

It's terrible to say that I'd forgotten the delights of a really good bitching session until my daughter and I started watching Strictly together! So definitely looking forward to sharpening my talons, getting a glass of wine at the ready and scrutinising the way the celebs' wobbly bits disappear as gruelling rehearsals take their toll. Can't wait!

I also love keeping track of Craig's shoes when he appears on the weekday shows. I admit to a bit of a soft spot for Craig.

I have watched Strictly since the beginning and absolutely love it and look forward to its return each year. Think it is about time they 'pensioned' Brucie off and got someone else to co-present with Tess, who I think is fantastic. Don't always know the celebs but enjoy seeing how they improve each week. Claudia was always great with her 'follow on' shows and its good to get the celebs and partners feedback - gives you a real insight into how they feel.

Not allowed to watch anything with Brucie in. Why on earth don't they replace him with Anton.

My hubby has ''a list'' of celebs he (we) cannot watch !!!!

only trouble is the 'list'' gets longer by the week.

am a fan of 'strictly' as well . Like so many of you I wish they would get rid of Brucie ( some people don't know when to stop do they ? )I would also like to see more genuine results , not sure that an audience vote is a true reflection on the dancing skills ie 'John Sergeantand Ann Widdacombe '. People being people tend to vote for their favourite stars and not the best dancer . Let's see some proper judgements from experts , Arlene Phillips for one , or failing that start another series where the dancing skills are properly judged . Having said all that I shall still be watching as many episodes as I can .!!I

Great to find lots of 'Strictly' fans. I have watched it from the beginning and love every minute. Getting a bit fed up with Brucie - he was never one of my favourites but I think it is time for him to go. I also heard Zoe is taking over from Claudia and I am sure she will be terrific. So enthusiastic. Roll on September.

I noticed that to,and some of the celeb's not allowed to watch as well,my DH and I agree on most of the celeb's we like fortunatley,I can relate to never seeing Jonathon Ross on TV would never bother me again,but Paul O'Grady does so much for animal welfare and for unmentioned charitie's I feel he is very much under rated,the fact that he was brought up near me doesn't come
into the equasion,(honest fib)I bet a lot of the bloke's who dislike Brucie would like to be as fit and healthy as he is with a very much younger wife.

I am also amazed that in this day and age a husband can not allow a wife to watch a tv show because he does not like the celebrity. Surely we all have a mind of our own and most households have more than 1 tv. My dh and I love watching strictly together but we have different tastes about lots of other shows.

Fortunately, Dh and I both enjoy Strictly though he generally reads the paper while watching and then asks questions. We have more than one TV and, for separate viewing, the bedroom one is favourite - unfortunately I never get to see the end of anything I try to watch in bed!!

I love every part of it, including Bruce! Am away for three weeks in November/December. Shall have to spend the day of my return watching three episodes one after another to catch up!

Yes I like Strictly but don't like the commitment it takes to watch it every week when I feel I should be doing something more constructive. I do get annoyed with it when the public vote for people who can't dance! hate the X Agree about Bruce but not being ageist I never liked him on the generation game. Thought Pamela S was inspiring and loved her-her dancing was amazing and she looked great and wasn't stick thin!

Oh Yes anton for host definitely Bruce is a national treasure but he is making himself look ridiculous now with his silly little dance and pathetic staged jokes cant say I am a fan of Tess either really. who would we love to see as contestants here's a few

I am always slightly miffed initially, as there always seem to have a lot of soap stars on it, as i don't watch soaps, haven't a clue who they are. Claudia is not on it as she is pregnant, or just given birth.

I sometimes think they will run out of celebs. So many are decidedly C-list!

Love Strictly, loathe Brucie, also love Big Brother. There I have said it!!! Get very cross when people criticise me for enjoying BB, in a supercilious way. I love the psychology of it and think it is very clever. Millions of people can't be wrong......

I don't just loathe Brucie, I really absolutely loathe him. He gets pots of money for making all those stupid jokes as well. I wonder which two they have put together with the lurve aspections???
