Thank goodness for Sky Plus! Seems we all feel the same. I can't watch the Brucie bits, sets my teeth on edge.

I love it have watched every bit since the beginning but the format has got a bit X factor last time. cant stand all that mindless rythmic clapping!! Moronic!!!

I love it too but also record it to fast forward all the "rubbish". I can't stand Bruce but hubby thinks he is great so we have a fight over the remote! AND I really wish Pamela Stephenson had won last year.

Count me in. I've loved it since the very first episode and also hope it sticks to the format. I also enjoy Claudia Winkleman on BBC2 each evening although she can, at times, be irritating. Does anyone know what happened to Darren and Lilia last year? He was there doing show dances but where was she?

OMG have just heard Edwina Currie, Nancy Dell'ollio and Russell Grant are on Strictly this year!!!!!!!!!

Nancy D has been trying for so long to be a 'celebrity'. Hope she is out quickly as she could spoil the show for me. Agree about Bruce F's awful contrived jokes.

Annobel, I'd heard that Claudia W has just had a baby so her show will be hosted by Zoe Ball this year. Zoe should be good though.

hey notso - my granddaughter went to see "So you think you can dance" being filmed, and said she saw zoe ball in the audience, just wanted to go and watch, not as a celeb vip or anything!

I hope she's as enthusiastic about dance as this makes it seem - think she'll be a great host.

When does strictly actually start? Need to get my tv schedule sorted for autumn! X factor starting on saturday....ooh maybe I need to go start another discussion about that!

I love it too!! we were lucky enough to go and see Brendan Cole in his show earlier this year he was FANTASTIC we had a wonderful night. Now I am going to say this and run and hide.... I love Brucie long may he reign!!

You've made my day ...didn't think I was going to have anyone to chat with about Strictly this year ...suddenly I've found lots of people who like it too!!

There aren't many shows that you can watch with your mother, daughters and grandchildren and that they all love.

I have noticed that people who dance at all, dislike the celebrity bits and jokes and only want to watch the actual dancing. Who likes the John Sergeant/Anne Widdecombe efforts?
