It depends how active you would like to be. The world really is your oyster you know, and you can choose between a very challenging activity holiday to one watching the world float by as you sit on your river cruise boat, and everything in between.

We’ve done it all in our time. Last year we floated down the river Rhine interspersed with strolling and sightseeing. This year we are exploring further north and going to the arctic circle and gradually making our way back to the U.K. via Norway on a small cruise ship.
