I usually apply a face pack once or twice a week. Not sure if it does any good but they aren't expensive and I like to feel I've pampered myself.
When on holiday in the UK last year I popped into Boots to buy a couple to treat myself in the hotel bathroom in the evening but all I could find were those actual masks which are made of some tissue with holes cut out for eyes and mouth and saturated in some cold slimy gunge.
I had bought one like that by mistake once here in Germany and found it most unpleasant. I always go for a creamy substance, usually in packs of two sachets. There was nothing like that in Boots at all. I asked an assistant. This was in the Arndale centre, a huge branch. Was it always like this in the UK or is this a new development? Heaven help us if they catch on here in Germany. At the moment they are still in the minority.
I think I'll start making my own.
Does anyone else use.face packs and do you like these masks?
