A bit early maybe, but have been thinking about some new boots for Winter, no, or low heeled, comfy, slouchy, and either knee high or 3/4 in black or plum leather ( not suede) think that I won't be lucky though, I usually find boots by complete surprise, in shops I didn't even know were there( like the shoe/boot shop in Burford.)

I have fat calfs/calves (which is it?) I have a lovely pair of Duo boots I bought about 3 years ago when DH had a tax rebate (£250) but they have been rebranded and their boots are now £350 so we wont go there! I have bought some lovely black low heeled ones from Marisota at £65 - they have many many styles in many many widths.

I love those boots! What's the Fitflop microwobbleboard In those boots jingl? Knowing my exceedingly crappy ankle and nonexistent sense of balance it sounds like something yours truly should avoid sadly.

I do have a pair of Fitflop winter shoes that are very comfortable and a pair of Ff sandals that are a bit too big (they didn't do half sizes). However, the boots look a bit flat, I don't like too much of a heel but can't wear completely flat shoes or boots.

Well fancy that, has anyone else got an advert at the top of the GN page for Fitflop boots?

What have you started jings !

I have a different problem.... At the calf I can put both hands right down into most boots. That's ok when wearing with tighter jeans but looks horrible on the leg with a skirt, even with thick tights.
Wish I had fat calfs/calves and a bit less on the stomach/waist.

I love Fitflop sandals, have only 2 pair because they are pretty expensive, didn't know they did shoes and boots.

Janerowena, just seen those Mystery Boots at our local garden centre this afternoon, they are lovely, both the plum and the teal ( want both really.)

Mystery boots,Hotter!

I have a black pair, they are so comfortable. I have the shorter ones in plum and brown, and they are like comfy slippers to wear. Someone said you can't shut them away, the soles have to breathe. Mine are kept on shelves and after about five years of buying them, they all seem well and healthy!

That's good to know Jane ( remember we had a crumbling sole thread about Hotter?)My shoes/ boots are all on shelves too, so should be fine.

Bought some really substantial snow boots a couple of winters ago - they haven't come out of their box yet! Which I suppose is a good thing.

Yes, like my bargain snow shovels from Home Bargains - still unused three years later! grin

rosesarered Mon 12-Oct-15 21:09:16

And my bargain pink wellies ( with roses on them!) when will it snow?grin

stillhere Mon 12-Oct-15 21:18:04

Nooooo! No snow!

I lost my padded (purple!) wellies for two years, and DBH found them in the garage last week, I am now convinced that it is fate and it will snow!

rosesarered Mon 12-Oct-15 23:16:38

Only if you WEAR them!grin

stillhere Tue 13-Oct-15 11:38:39

Maybe I should ask him to hide them? grin
