I do like the idea of daily access to programmes my DGCs may watch when they come to visit and the weather is not good enough for them to go outside it is a really good idea.
My youngest DGCs would be interested in all the nature programmes they are animal mad and can never get to see enough,their older brothers would enjoy watching series or films suitable for older boys but will also watch cartoons of any kind,typical boy stuff really.
Hopefully the weather will stay nice enough for the DGCs to enjoy the sunshine but knowing there is a TV system for them to choose from like this is good news indeed.

I love to sit and watch a family film with my 13 year old DS at a time to suit us. My 3 year old DGS is happy with anything on "My CBeebies!!".

We've loved the Lego Movie [probably because it works on so many age levels]. My 7 year old grandson loves watching Mr Bean [which surprised me], but his viewing taste changes all the time. The younger one is animal mad [especially rabbits] and will happily watch anything with small furry creatures in [although I do have to be careful that they don't meet a sticky end eg The Velveteen Rabbit ].

Our under 6's like a bit of CBeebies, particularly Mr Tumble. Our 22month old DGD loves "Pig" aka Peppa. They usually watch when I am preparing meals etc.
If the weather's OK we prefer them to be out and about.Older DGC enjoyed watching bits of the Commonwealth Games last week-Usain Bolt and Tom Daley are big heroes.
We don't have satellite or cable TV so they are a bit limited here to the basic channels.

Sorry, forgot that DGC over 6 years enjoy The Diary of a Wimpy Kid films as they have read the books.

My DGC are currently into childrens classic films such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, Doctor Doolittle etc. They have just enjoyed The Little Rascals that we watched together one wet afternoon last week. My DGC are very "outdoorsy" so films and television are mainly enjoyed during bad weather or later in the evening during the school holidays.

I like to watch ready steady cook and come dine with me with my DGC- They love to cook and love to help me make things when we 're together

My GC have no television (but watch dvds) They feel sorry for me because I can only watch programmes when they are on!! They enjoy Copycats and Shaun the Sheep but in the summer we have hardly any time for watching!

While staying with my two grand-daughters when their parents were away, I kind of got sucked into 'I Carly' with them. It had us laughing a lot together. We don't get it on our TV, so it was a novelty for me.

I see my 2 little grand-daughters 2 days a week so when it is wet the TV does go on. They both love Peter Rabbit, Mr Tumble, Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam & anything to do with insects/ladybirds or farm animals as they live on a farm. They adored The Gruffalo over Christmas.

My 6 year old grandson loves to watch Horrible Histories with Grandad on CBBC. There is just enough toilet talk to have them both roaring with laughter but at the same time extremely educational. We definitely need more programmes like this one. When stories are told in this manner there is most definitely a good chance that they will remember the facts.

The really hot weather this summer has meant television has taken a back seat. The Lego Movie is a favourite for my 11 yr old grandson though and once the autumnal weather sets in he'll be back to his usual favourites on CBBC

I use 'saving' on our 'box' to save what we know the grandboys like, age nearly 5 and nearly 3

They both will watch 'CBeebies', some strange ones like Baby Jake, others like Chuggington, Octonauts, Bob the Builder, TreeFu Tom..........
Farm programmes...... Big Barn Farm ( we get out farm animals to play with) Peter Rabbit, Fireman Sam and Timmy Time have all been favourites
They enjoy if they tie in with toys they have ...........building with blocks and sticks, sand with a JCB toy .........
also they love ipad programmes, which tie up with some, CBeebies play time has Octonauts, TreeFu Tom, Swashbuckle, and the education ones like Alphablocks, Something Special, Make a picture, Earth Explorers, dinosaur adventures.
If there are nature programmes on I will record especially if about fish, whales, dolphins, hammerhead sharks, for the eldest. I like to tie in the programmes with activities.

I am the educator and parents will show 'films' for them, the usual ones for boys but I can't keep up with all the names

My three grandchildren are very young but the oldest absolutely loves Bob the Builder, and the middle one In the Night Garden.

All my DGCs are still young and so are usually enthralled by anything on CBeebies which I find to be more varied than I imagined. I admit to a secret fondness for Peppa Pig as my own choice.

GS2 (18 months) loves anything with Justin Fletcher, In The Night Garden and Teletubbies. His brother (nearly 8) mainly watches awful American cartoons with his (American) dad, but he does secretly enjoy Andy's Dinosaur Adventures.

I was babysitting GS3 (10 months) last night and he really liked the cakes on The Great British Bake Off

Amazingly, my 5 year old grandson and 3 year old granddaughter have watched "A Chorus Line" 3 or 4 times with me -- on DVD, which I brought with me on holiday. It's a favorite of mine, and now of theirs too.

I have to confess I have manipulated the DVD watching, I love Bear Behaving Badly, and bought the DVDs. We now play them all the time and I've got them all hooked!!

My younger grandchildren love cbeebies and the older ones would sit and watch any Disney film for hours if I let them!

My youngest grandaughter (4) likes to watch cbeebies whilst my grandson (7) loves to watch cartoon network and the eldest grandaughter (10) loves citv, although they only watch tv if they are unable to go outside, and are happy to have time limits on their channels, but we all enjoy watching a Disney film together.

Any good animated films, Disney or others, from classics like 'Dumbo' to new ones like 'Frozen', plus 'Little Princess' and 'Charlie and Lola. For older children, 'The Box of Delights' was a wonderful series.

My grandaughter is 15 (just) and we really love to watch "The Great British Bake Off" together. We then have a go at baking together with improving success! She likes to make chocolate cakes best of all!

our oldest GC is a 17 year old boy so with him its Friends, Two and a Half Men, CSI or his all time favourite, The Walking Dead - with a few baking programmes thrown in for variety.

My grandson who is 2 loves to watch Peppa Pig I am getting to know all the characters now.
