Another cat run over

Our beloved Alkopop, only 18 months old, was run over yesterday. That's the 3rd cat we've lost. I think it will take someone killing a child for 'theme' to do something about speeding through our tiny village despite the signs. 60mph when cars are parked both sides of the road and there are driveways etc.? Maniacs.

I’m so sorry.
Huge numbers of cats are killed by traffic and recently my daughter’s young dog was too.
We need an electric wire embedded in every kerb to deter animals from stepping into the road.

Good idea watermeadow!
Would we be electrocuting our kids too as they scoot home from school or would everyone be transporting them home by car (and perhaps running over yet another cat on the way?)
