JO4, I like your thing about Cari had/Carriad, I have the odd phrase of Welsh, and "carriad" is one of the few words I know!

Only one 'r' in cariad, ladies! (I know this because my DD is bilingual!)

When I was a child I won a coconut at a fair We kept it in the kitchen and called it "Humphrey".(We were very poor, couldn't afford a real pet) He/it had a face like a baby seal and we didn't have the heart to eat him/it.
