Perhaps because there is so much to complain about with Farage?

Tom Homan - Trump’s hardline ICE advisor.
What else is there to say?
Perhaps because there is so much to complain about with Farage?
Peacelilydilly
I've no wish to start a thread about Andy Burnham I don't like him or Labour I just find it strange thread after thread about Nigel Farage and Reform but not a peep about Burnham meeting Trump or the Labour Party in general.
Burnham as the U.K. PM will meet all the world leaders.
What on earth is there to say??
Shows what Reform would be like in government. Don't let Farage get into No. 10.

Feel free to start your own post Peacelilydilly, if you are so inclined.
What I find strange is all the posts about Reform and Nigel Farage but not one thread about Burnham our new PM who has just come back from meeting Trump.
1085 in 3 days on Reforms Small Boat watch which I wouldn't have known about until a poster advertised it on GN.
Meanwhile 781 migrants arrived here illegally, uninvited yesterday.
781 in one day.
Mmmmm, Farage a wannabe best friend of Trump
Cossy a well said response
Just when you think Farage and his entourage couldn’t get any worse! Why didn’t he just go to the USA since that was his initial ambition until Musk stuck his oar in. He’s always wanted to be with Trump and his vile vision for mankind.

1) if you don’t think your post is “bizarre”, I can only suggest you re-read it.
2) I live in a very multi-cultural area, in the South East, we have extremely affluent areas right next to pockets of deprivation.
I had some empathy for the residents of Piddington until I was in possession of more “facts”.
“Facts” being that the army base has been near them for years, the fact that there’s also a prison fairly close by, the fact they “welcome” a far right ex-con, who’s (allegedly) found God, whilst concurrently encouraging protests, actually going out into the channel on a boat and slitting a rubber dinghy which didn’t have any migrants aboard, but which did have a rescue worker aboard!
Anyhow, once in Piddington a “neighbour” gave the full name and address of a lady, living in the village for 20 years, married to a black man, with mixed race children. She now fears for their safety in their own home.
I utterly condemn this kind of conduct and find him and his sad followers, completely deplorable and even their “dress” is intimidating. All male, all dressed in black, with balaclavas, to deliberately make it hard to identify them.
I find them cowardly and utterly pathetic.
I have no issue with them stating their “fears” and “anxieties”, after all we do have freedom of speech and democracy in our country still.
I take huge issue though with their conduct, their links to Yaxley-Lennon, or as he prefers to be known “Tommy Robinson”, their use of racist language, their aggressive demeanour, their utter and shameful ignorance.
All in the name of God and protecting us poor white women.
It’s utter balderdash.
Just picking up on your comment, WithNobsOn It, about pensions, this morning's Guardian has an article about a think-tank linked to Reform UK, advocating the abolition of the state pension.
I wonder if most of the pensioners in Piddington have private ones?
If not, then support for Farage would be an own goal.
I live in a very deprived city in West Yorkshire so I can describe how folk are struggling with life! However, in my little cul de sac we have Chinese, Jamaican, Romanian, residents! We are aged from 10 months to 76 years ( guess who) We have a block of apartments at the end of said cul de sac ready to be used for supported living so we know that the staff will be from many cultures, backgrounds, religions and we are ready to help them settle in! We all work hard to be polite and friendly so I don’t know where “ withnobsonit” you get the idea of being woke, wearing rose tinted spectacles comes from! Just an old gal wanting the best for her community ! Thank goodness we have Burnham not Farage say I
Me, too. Burnham should see out his term. He needs time to put his policies in place and turn the economy around.
The inhabitants of Piddington, especially those who have bought very expensive houses there recently (650K for a two bed semi) have woken up the fact that they live on the edge of a massive 1,500 acre virtually decommissioned MoD site that has been the subject of planning for the last 25 years.
Shelved in 2011 under Tory austerity was a planned redevelopment that would have had brought 1,900 new houses, schools, supermarkets, offices, industrial esates and other infrastructure. In other words, homes, jobs, education and business. The 125 acres of land that that is now subject to this controversy (25 acres of it earmarked for the asylum site) was going to be sold off. Anyone could have bought and developed it.
Oxfordshire provides supported accommodation for very few asylum seekers compared to the rest of the country. Just 6 for every 10,000 of the population compared to 50 or 60 per 10,000 in other parts of the country. It needs to step up and do some of the lifting. My county does. Why can't theirs?
What were you saying about people are their comfortable lives?

Do you need therapy because what you describe is not what I am seeing?
I think it depends on where you live in this country and your true and real experience in life. And tell it as it is.
The inhabitants of Piddington seem to have woken up to this big time.
Not everybody is Woke, Holier Than Thou or see the world through rose coloured glasses and live a nice, generous, private pension comfortable life.
Also my post should have said gun
crazed countries in the world. Typing mistake.
Not a Farage fan but he does talk about issues that affect everyday ordinary people. That other parties want push under the table.
All Politicians world wide are just there to serve the Elites wherever they are in world and whatever they pretend to represent.
Why is this bizarre?

Farage has probably lost some supporters and existing voters with the recent funding fiascos and relentless smearing campaigns from the the leftish media
He probably needs to reassure Reform supporters that he is still on song regarding illegal immigration, grooming gangs etc.
I don't really support some of the tactics ICE are using on the US to deport co called undocumented immigrants. Who are, lets face it living in the US illegally. So they are illegal immigrants and need to be deported.
But ICE also have to deal with major drug gangs, organised crime, people trafficking and really violent people.
This is the most crazy country country in the world after all.
Makes our out of control illegal immigration problem look like a tea party.
It is blatantly obvious that The Blessed Andy Burnham and his sycophantic, sickening Labour Cronies have no intention whatsoever of reducing illegal immigration. They absolutely adore these people and can't do enough for them.
We all know that they are counting on these people to vote for them as part of their future electorate. You know when us GN's have gone. You know bigots and old farts. They hate these Old Labour voters with an unrivalled passion.
In the meantime they use these illegal immigrants as a distraction to divert people's attention from other really important problems that affect our everyday lives.
It will be interesting to find out what this ICE man has to say.
What a very bizarre post.
Smearing campaigns?
Do the Police do smearing campaigns?
You never find out what ICE men have to say, They just shoot you dead in the street or your car ... or drag you from your home in the dead if night and put you on dark plane.
No problem WhiteWave.
Quite frankly, after reading these posts, I think some might welcome him.

This was another of the permanently angry Zia Yusuf’s plans - the UK Deportation Command announced earlier this year.
I don’t think we need to worry. Farage won’t let him stand for election and Reform will never be in power.
