The speed and extent of the abuse Varley subjected this baby to in such a short period of time is terrifying. He must have known that anally abusing a tiny body would cause serious harm. I’ve seen some clips of his police interviews. He presents as an arrogant narcissist and I find it hard to accept his personality and presentation during assessments appear not to have concerned social workers
Having said that, abusers are often well able to hide their darker side, to appear empathic and caring
I believe it was even worse than what you said Iam64. It was reported that some of the abuse was too terrible to share with the public.
I agree with what you say about paedophiles acting out their (sick) fantasies. I tell you what makes me feel very uncomfortable but now seems acceptable in hospitals is putting a newborn on the naked chest and nipple of a male. It is very creepy to my mind and before you know it they could be encouraging the baby to suck their nipples. gross!
