…….due to the defence spending plans. Good for him, maybe it will make those with the purse strings think again. Though I doubt it.

Let’s rewind. I think it was perfectly understandable and rational for the segue into BJ to happen on this thread.

Thank you for your explanation Tt.

It didn’t answer my question but we’ve already established than no one has to answer any question on GN so that’s OK too.
Have a good evening.

That is how it should be, in my opinion.
Nobody should be forced into any sort of a response.
Abstaining, skipping past. We do that in the offline world too. 🌎

There is only one real winner of increased military spending: the profiteers of war arms companies, who have a stake in an endless arms race to fuel the conflicts around the world.

Wellfare not warfare

Samwam In the current situation between Israel and its neighbours. Do explain to us how welfare can be provided when many of these countries did not choose to be at war but had war thrust upon them.

How can a country involved in a war they did not want possibly provide a good, or any welfare for its citizens.

Do not give an answer that reuires Netanyahu to have a Damascene conversion and become a pacifist, or Trump to cease being a war monger.

Those Middle East countries attacked by Israeli ans/or the USA have no alternative to putting warfare before welfare.
