The irony is that the Louvre is just a few minutes away from the Police Headquarters in Paris. That's a bit like robbers in Westminster Abbey being 4 minutes away from New Scotland Yard and making off with the Coronation Chair. Well, almost!
I bet they’re caught soon. It seems thieves are often very good at carrying out the actual crime but not so clever at what comes afterwards. Let’s see.
24 hours on, nothing. Don't they say it gets more difficult to catch anyone as time goes by?
I've scanned the French papers this morning and they seem rather embarrassed! They appear to be talking in depth about anything other than the heist, because there's nothing to go on!
One can't help thinking that if this had been in London, our police would be putting out public appeals and showing more film of the robbers getting away?
I have to say, those pieces are very beautiful. But not really the stuff you'd wear down the street or in Sainsburys Carrefour.

SkyDancer Don’t believe everything you see on tv. In the real world it’s very different. I might be wrong in this case but they did the classic robbery. Broad daylight, hi viz jackets, ladders, chain saw. Who was going to question them 🤷♀️

I think people would question it on a Sunday morning. Vanishingly unlikely they would be working. This is France you know. 😂
