MSF have written to the British government saying that it (MSF) considers the British government to be complicit in genocide.
Good Morning Saturday 4th July 2026
because tragically it is not over.
MSF have written to the British government saying that it (MSF) considers the British government to be complicit in genocide.
Palestinians have very few rights now.
US ambassador Huckerbee, who supports the illegal Israeli settlers in the west bank has told the Israelis to aggressively hunt down the killers of a US citizen. Not only did they badly beat him but then blocked the ambulance from getting to him. They sound like thugs and shame on Huckerbee for supporting them to take that land.
Israel has banned Al Jazeera from Israe[ because Al Jazeera consistently endorses Palestinian rights.
I do think if a country is bombing another nation in the hope of killing someone they regard as a danger, and "technical error" leads them to bomb a queue of children & young men queuing for drinking water (when 50 miles away the Israelis will have sprinklers keeping their lawns green), then the ethics of bombing in a crowded territory full of displaced civilians, however it's justified, should lead to the IDF abandoning their drone attacks,

If/when this Genocide is over, the Dead will 'have their say' when their remains are exhumed, injuries noted, munition fragments examined and identified, by forensic experts, just as Dame Sue Black and her teams worked on the mass graves of those murdered in the Balkans, then in Iraq and Syria on the ISIS victims, and now on those killed, accidently or not by the IDF.
Then, the number of children lost will be revealed.
This.
Who reports all these huge mistakes? well Israel has said on several occasions that there are going to be investigations Annie so isn't that their acknowledgement that 'mistakes', and I think that's putting it politely, have been made.

Al Jazeera examined hours of footage forensically and found that some of the claims by Israel were false and fabricated Anniebach
This is what I was replying to foxie48 and I hadn’t noticed that you even mentioned Al Jazeera.
"Why quote what Al Jazeera say if you don’t believe their every word?" Is this directed at me, Oreo. If so, please say where I have used an Al Jazeera quote. I don't quote from Al Jazeera because I've very aware that the fact that is owned mainly by the Qatari govt, it will be seen as unreliable (even if they are reporting the truth).
The IDF is ranked fourth in the word, for training and armaments.

Also the IDF are making huge 'mistakes' almost every day. That is truly unbelievable.
Who reports all these huge mistakes ?
I don’t think that I have ever mentioned what I believe coming from the Israeli side.
Mistakes are made in war situations, all the time.
Also the IDF are making huge 'mistakes' almost every day. That is truly unbelievable.
You believe what you want to believe Oreo and I'll believe what I feel is true. I don't believe every word from any news reports but you clearly believe every word Israel says.
It's unfair to say I believe what you think are lies while you believe what I think to be lies. Rather hypocritical.
Why quote what Al Jazeera say if you don’t believe their every word?
There’s been a ton of hamas propaganda used, false and posed photos and reports of things that never happened in reality.
There’s same scenes used again and again in some cases.
That doesn’t mean that people haven’t been killed and injured, there have been some real tragedies.
At this late stage of the war against hamas it’s to be hoped that the IDF becomes really as accurate as they possibly can be but they’re people not robots and in confusing scenarios things can go wrong.
War and any conflicts are awful for the civilian population.

Prior to this latest war I’m sure that for many people Al Jazeera was their go to news channel because they found it very fair. I know my ex used to watch it but bemoaned the fact that he could no longer access via terrestrial tv.
I would agree with that however it's less reliable on the situation in Gaza but tbh I still think it's more reliable than what comes out from the current Israeli government. The BBC has made some mistakes but it has corrected them. It's will continue to be difficult to get completely accurate information from Gaza until independent foreign reporters are allowed back in to see for themselves but I do trust British doctors who have been going out to Gaza.
I hope you're right Maremia but if Israel has total control over Gaza will that happen?

Why post that comment at all Oreo? Has anyone here said they believe Al Jazeera word for word?
Neither will I AGAA4.

My above comment was to all who believe Al Jazeera word for word.
Word for word I've told you a thousand times don't exaggerate!
That was just a view from Al Jazeera. Doesn't mean it was all wrong.
While Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Smotrich are in the Knesset I won't trust Israel.
Some of the graphic scenes that have been posted may be true or not. We may never know. I agree that the October 7th attack was shocking and horrified most of us.
The horrifying events in Gaza are just as shocking. So many have been killed and have had their country bombed over and over again. They have been starved and denied any aid whatsoever.

Not so sure about that, while there’s weight attached to anything Al Jazeera throw out into the ether and anything from Israel is dismissed.
While wanting the IDF to be 100% accurate with their drone attacks on hamas figures I realise that for them it’s war on hamas and in all wars there is human error.
Not so sure about that
Nor am I.
I hadn't noticed this thread was non-partisan but heigh-ho, I only look at it occasionally now.

Just as a matter of interest, and not being at all partisan, Qatar was where Hamas leaders lived in luxury while their people suffered.
Whether or not they are still there is unclear, but they do live in other Arab countries and Turkey.
Far from the front line and suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Five Arab countries declared war on Israel 1948
