The video of his intentions in 2001 is not a conspiracy theory, however. Neither is the fact that repeated warnings were given, to the very top, and that the Head of the Army services resigned because Netanyahu chose to ignore.
The only question is about whether the attack was allowed to happen to enable him to do what he had been planning since so long, and clearly since 2001. We will probably never know- but it is nt surprising, in the circumstances, that some have come to that conclusion.
I don't really go for the conspiracy theory. However, I do think that Israeli security took its eye off the ball along the Gaza boundary because it thought the greater threat would come in the West Bank, where Israeli has been grabbing Palestinian land with impunity.
