The Israeli Knesset has accused Hamas of moving the goal posts this morning.

If it was down to him the ceasefire would be the day after his inauguration rather than the day before, surely? He would not knowingly agree to it when Biden was still in charge rather than taking the credit.
I don’t really care who takes credit though, because in reality it’s no credit that it happened, or that the world stood by. I just hope that it holds, both short and long term.

Biden has done the leg work for years. It's greatly to his credit that he kept on trying. No its isnt a coincidence it comes just now, but we don't know whats been happening behind the scenes.

As long as the ceasefire holds and hostages and prisoners are released I couldn't give two hoots as to who gets the credit. Isn't the saving of lives the most important consideration here?

I’m just glad that a ceasefire has been agreed (and hopefully will hold) and that hostages will soon start to be released.

So relieved than an 11th hour ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has happened on Biden's watch. Trump's administrators have had a part in all this but Joe Biden's team have done all the spadework and I hope they get the credit rather than Trump. At least we don't have to see what his 'All hell will be let loose' if hostages aren't returned before his inauguration was all about.
