New denture problems

Have you tried a little bit of Fixodent so it doesn’t move too much? Just an idea. I paid to have a titanium partial denture for my bottom jaw and it’s been perfect for several years. And it can be added to if needed. But my top partial plastic denture has been such a pain. Broken several times, always in social settings. In despair I’m having 5 implants as I can’t keep living like this

I filed down the part that was rubbing with an emery board.

You have your empathy. I went back and forth but still they rubbed, gave up in the end and tolerate the gaps.

Taking pity on you.
Just giving this a boost and hoping it's actually resolved by now.

No, I haven't but it sounds tough.
I hope you get it sorted soon.

I’ve had a partial bottom denture for some years now, but had to have a new one made as I had a new crown , causing the old one to not fit properly.
Taken ages to sort out as I have a fair bit of bone shrinkage , so back and forth to the lab,
Anyway. Have had it 3 weeks. Had it eased , but even now it’s rubbing badly and I will have to return yet again to the dentist.
Has anyone else experienced this .
