Had the jab yesterday and have felt pretty dire today, headache, listless, sleepy, sore arm. DH also felt unwell. However we both seem to be feeling better now 24 hours later. They didn’t give us a document describing this particular jab.

Onward and upward. 👍

I was bedbound after the Modena booster in 2022 for 19 months with horrendous symptoms & pain. I had tachycardia with a 250 HR. I'm on beta blockers. I have an autoimmune condition and COPD but am too wary to get jabbed again, have had COVID since & fortunately been ok will take my chances.. A friend got myocarditis post booster.

I had my booster on Thursday last week and for the first time I have had a reaction.
I wasn’t 100% on Friday with a very sore arm, very hot to touch and tender.
Today in spite of the lovely weather I have felt cold and shivery at times.
I have now come to bed with a hot drink and Paracetamol.

Mum reports a sore arm and aching all over for a few days, with a Moderna vaccine.

Had my booster last Monday. Had left Tuesday free in case I had any reactions - but absolutely none. Site of injection very slightly sore for a couple of days, but that is all. Another week and I will be protected against whatever is the current type of Covid doing the rounds. Wonderful NHS - thank you.

That is usually me Franbern and I am really surprised that I have had a reaction this time.
I had the RSV at the same time but it is definitely the Covid site which is still warm with a small lump.
My whole arm is still subject to sharp stabs of pain rather like nerve pain.
For the first time I am considering skipping the Autumn booster if we are offered one.

I never had a single covid jab and never would.

Assume you do not use NHS in any form whenever you are ill.

I have been thinking of other people I knew who stated they would not get this vaccine, however none of them are still alive now!!!

Lucky you Robin, I had my jab and it helped me recover from Covid when I eventually caught it. I was in close proximity to someone with a heavy dose, or I’m sure I’d have not caught ig

Covid jab yesterday afternoon. Spikevax which I think is Moderna.
Very veey achey all over and a bit warm. My arm is painful. But that has been my reaction for a couple of years so I leave the day after blank to recovee and take regular paracetamol.

I had extra covid vax while having chemo and had no reaction at all. I don't think in those couple of years I made any immunity. So a reaction is a good sign. I hope.

Feeling a lot better today. But top of the jabbed arm is feeling very tender still. I expect that will improve.
Why is it when you have a tender site that is always where you manage to bang yourself. I caught it on the door jamb yesterday. That didnt help with the tenderness!

I had mine on Friday. I wondered why it was called Spikevax! My arms are both really sore and what’s making it worse is that I’m covered in mozzie bites which are driving me nuts!

Had both jabs yesterday and am taking it very easy today.
Both arms slightly sore - not really that bad. But am very, very tired. Wonderful excuse to stay at home, do some knitting and watch tv.

I had both covid and flu jabs 8 days ago with no side effects at all.

BlueBelle

I m not having any more either

I feel that Covid has morphed many times since it began and now people don’t even test any more, so we have no idea who is having Covid or flu or a cold, so my belief is that I need my own body s immune system to do the work
Totally understand that those with a poor immune system or other illnesses do need the extra protection but I want my own body to get back to working for itself

I had Covid two or three times and was not particularly ill with it I had all my jabs up to about eight with no side effects and then decided that was it.
I only had the ordinary flu jab last winter and will follow that path now. I will have the winter flu jab in October but until then I hope to not have any others. I did not have a spring flu jab only ever had one a year and will continue like that hopefully

Same here.

I didn’t know about the RSV vaccine. It’ll be interesting to see if my surgery contacts me about it when I turn 75 soon.

Mamie Sun 11-Oct-26 19:02:10

The RSV vax was nothing. So quick I didn't feel it and no side effects at all. We had Covid and flu vaccines this week and only very minor arm ache from the Moderna Covid vax. DH had to have nearly every vaccine from early childhood onwards repeated after his cancer treatment last year.
