Legionnaires

Does anyone have experience of Legionnaires disease? My DH contracted it three years ago and seemed to make a full recovery but since then he has lacked energy and developed mild COPD. He was also type 2 diabetic and the disease sent his sugars out of control which were eventually controlled with insulin. He used to be a very happy positive and active person but he has now turned into a complete hypochondriac and has even stopped playing golf which he loved.
